Inclusive Choir Launching In-Person Sessions in Birmingham!

The West Midlands Inclusive Choir is expanding! We are thrilled to announce that Services For Education, in partnership with MAC Makes Music and Soundabout, will be launching face-to-face sessions in Birmingham on Saturday 18th September 2021 at 11am.

The first session will be hosted at Services For Education (Unit 3 Holt Court, Holt Street, Birmingham, B7 4AX) and all future sessions will take place at Midlands Arts Centre (MAC).

This choir is a musical community without barriers. It is open to all young people aged 25 and under, regardless of experience or disability. Here are a few examples of ways you could join in:

  • Using Makaton Signing
  • Singing or other vocal noises
  • Making sounds with an instrument or sound maker
  • Using technology e.g. an iPad or EyeGaze
  • Movement and dance

We want to use music to unlock the potential of those young people with severe and profound learning disabilities and give everyone involved a voice!
