Deaf People Do Music Differently – CPD Day

Hosted by Threaded in association with Red Earth Theatre & Nottingham Trent University, a Professional Development Day about making music and music culture more accessible to D/deaf people.

It will be a day of inspiration and development for D/deaf and hearing musicians, music hubs, music teachers, composers, music students and anyone interested in increasing creative access to music.

The way in which D/deaf people interact with, consume and create music is different from how hearing people do it. Embracing this difference opens up a world of possibilities for D/deaf and hearing musicians alike.

Join us for a day of shared conversations, ideas and tools for making and promoting D/deaf accessible music.
