Presenter Jane Wright and a 10 piece CBSO ensemble will deliver a performance specially designed for pupils with special educational needs inspired by Alice in Wonderland.
Pupils will be taken on a magical musical journey through imaginary worlds, meeting some interesting characters on the way, and having opportunities to engage with the performance throughout. We will also provide a selection of resources in advance of the performance to help familiarise pupils with the story and create a more interactive concert experience.
The CBSO is delighted to be delivering these performances in partnership with Services for Education, and thanks to their generous support we are able to offer FREE tickets for pupils attending special schools in Birmingham.
This year we will also be holding priority booking for Birmingham schools, which will run until Friday 25 January 2019, after which we will open booking to all special schools across the West Midlands.
Ticket availability is limited and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so book quickly to avoid disappointment. We will operate a waiting list should any additional places become available.
